This website, skeeper.us, is operated by Meditech Marketing LLC ("we", "us", "our"), 1300 Baltimore Ave, Unit 2607, Kansas City, MO 64105, United States. By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to place an order. You must provide accurate billing and shipping information. We ship within the United States only.

2. What the Skeeper SM-300 is, and what it is not

Please read this section carefully. It matters more than anything else on this page.

The Skeeper SM-300 is a consumer FDA-cleared 3-in-1 smart stethoscope, cleared under 510(k) number K230613. It lets you listen to heart, lung and fetal sounds, record them, and share those recordings with a healthcare professional.

FDA-cleared is not the same as FDA-approved. Clearance means the FDA reviewed the device and found it substantially equivalent to a device already legally on the market. It is the standard pathway for consumer devices in this category.

The device does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. It does not tell you what a sound means. It does not replace an examination by a doctor, a nurse or any other qualified healthcare professional, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

Fetal mode uses a passive acoustic microphone. It is not an ultrasound and it is not a fetal monitor. It must not be used to make any decision about a pregnancy, and it must not be used to decide whether or not to seek care.

Never delay seeking medical attention, and never disregard advice you have already been given, because of something you heard or did not hear through this device. If you are worried about a symptom, contact your doctor. In an emergency, call 911.

You agree to use the device only as described in the user manual and for personal, non-clinical use.

3. Product information and pricing

We try to describe the product and its specifications accurately, but we do not warrant that every description, image or specification on this site is complete or error free. Specifications may change.

All prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even if the order was already confirmed.

Any statement about HSA or FSA eligibility is general information, not a promise. Whether your plan reimburses this purchase depends on your plan, and you should confirm it with your plan administrator.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it. We may limit quantities, refuse an order, or cancel an order we believe was placed fraudulently or for resale. If we cancel your order, we refund you in full.

Payment is taken at checkout. Pay-over-time options shown at checkout are provided by third parties, are subject to their eligibility rules and terms, and are not offered by us.

5. Discount and affiliate codes

Discount codes are valid only for the product and period stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so. We may withdraw or change a code at any time. We may cancel an order placed with a code that was obtained or used improperly.

6. Shipping, returns and warranty

7. The app and third-party services

The Skeeper device works with the Skeeper Pro app, which is provided by the manufacturer and governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control that app, and we are not responsible for it. This site also relies on third parties for payments, shipping and email, each with their own terms.

Recordings you make belong to you. We do not receive them. Think carefully before you share a recording with anyone other than your healthcare provider.

8. How you may use this site

You may not use this site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape it, or use it to transmit anything harmful. We may end your access if you do.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, logos and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. Skeeper and SmartSound are trademarks of their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse this content commercially without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Except for the returns and the warranty routing described in our Returns and Refunds Policy, the manufacturer's own warranty, and any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded, the site and the product are provided "as is" and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability arising out of or relating to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the product.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Missouri, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one posted on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
